Nutrition at a Glance

Balanced protein and fibre with 14g Plant Protein per 100g

Why this blend works

Jowar brings both soluble fibre (which slows digestion) and insoluble fibre (which supports gut movement), helping prevent sugar spikes and energy crashes. But jowar on its own is an incomplete protein. Khapli fills those gaps with the amino acids jowar lacks and adds enzymes that help break down dense starches. Together, they create a flour that digests slower, keeps you full longer, and feels lighter than regular whole wheat.

How you should use this

Use exactly like regular atta. Mix 1 cup flour with about ¾ cup water, knead for 2 minutes, rest for 15 minutes, then roll and cook on a hot tawa for 1–2 minutes per side. Rotis puff well and stay soft.

Ingredients

Khapli (Emmer) Wheat
Jowar (Sorghum)

No added sugars, preservatives or additives. Contains only naturally occurring sugars from whole grains.

Taste

Mildly nutty with a gentle sweetness from jowar. Familiar enough for daily eating, but richer and more satisfying than white flour rotis.

Who it’s for

Families wanting an easy shift from regular wheat flour with added grain variety.

Use it for

Everyday rotis and chapatis, parathas, lunchbox rotis, and dinner breads. For baking, increase hydration slightly compared to white flour.

Frequently Asked Questions

Regular whole wheat has a higher glycemic index and can feel heavy. Jowar’s resistant starch combined with khapli’s protein and fibre leads to slower digestion, steadier energy, and easier gut comfort.

Yes. The lower glycemic response and higher fibre help reduce post-meal spikes and keep you full longer—useful for diabetes, pre-diabetes, PCOS, or weight control.

Most families do. Khapli keeps rotis soft and familiar, while jowar adds a mild sweetness. Many people prefer it over white flour after a week.

Most people notice fewer hunger pangs and steadier energy within the first week of switching.
